A Poem by John Preston
"

Just ,just, just

"

How sweet I see of thee

Bluish-green eyes
ye say to thee

‘Beauty I see, body that be
So many pictures
not one I see, be true of thee

Sun light, day light tis best to see
Unable to penetrate
What is behind those eyes
Only thy beauty can we see

I do admit I love those eyes

Full woman ye be, calls to me
I know not why, I feel this way
Thy poetry, I read fills me so
Words I read of the Cherokee

Tree of life, branch I hold
Close mine eyes with-in to see
Leaves of plants energy flows
Heart to heart, fills me to

Embrace of thee, my spirit longs
Be as one, soul entwine
Goddess and God anew is born
Our sweet woman, many adore
Ona Gwe Waki
Thy blue rose beauty of thee
A Cherokee.

Bless thee.
