Sweet Tasting

Sweet Tasting

A Poem by John Preston
"

Well it was only going to be five lines but I added the little extra.

"

You play with his alls
Boy, I bet they were small
How come their
so little
Take the ice lolly, lick, lick, lick
Until there’s only the sticky stick

The end.

But wait, there's another
Its called, A Snowball
This time I’m afraid
you will need more
than your lips.

Its tapering form
small in hand
Utensil will need
for conveying

It is not very long
That cannot be wrong
Because it was once strong
But now taken by tongue

So many flavours
Dark, milk, vanilla
Always a winner
in our villa.

now this is entertainment right here!! oh my goodness.. I was giggling the whole way through.. You make it sound so innocent and sweet but my mind took it somewhere else which, then in turn, made me giggle.. I love the tone, the flow, and the rhymes.. What a joy to read!!
