Desair

Desair

A Poem by John Preston
"

Just a reply to a friend

"
A hand reaches out through the despair

No question asked - No judgments made

From the depths, his light clears the darkness

His soft smile brings with it a warmth

A gentle, knowing look - and hope rises

No words need be spoken

An unconditional love is seen

His compassion - brings strength

And have lightened the once heavy burdens

She emerge's from the darkness whole

with the knowledge--

That one true friend will be at her side

As we travel the hills and valleys

And continue our walk down the path of life.
