Cherokee

A Poem by John Preston
"

My reply to a friend

"

A pen in my hand words just flow

As with you comes from within

Our spirit we to guide safely

Mother of Gods mother of nature
If you please protect our rivers
Freshwater's, sea, our forests too

"Oh” sweet lady of the Cherokee
a gift you gave from thy heart
Non is worthy this token receive
So pleased you gave to me

One ponders so from my heart and soul
I ask please allow just once from me
Think it over before you decide
Two friends we be on mother earth

Our pendulum answers a clear yes
on this clear frosty moon shown night
Your spirit guide shows the way
Your language of words don’t understand
Passed from your Grandmother all

Loss of his love, your heartache
shows in what one reads Cherokee

Blue sky
Blue sea
Blue eyes
Blue Rose

A beautiful flower that we see
So gentle to hold as that of thee
Petals so soft thy skin we touch
Colour so you that i see
Full of bloom just like ye
To hold a pleasure deep within
With gentle hands, we hold so
Sweet thy scent, beauty of you
With love and light wish you well

A woman of the Cherokee
