Sad is Gray

Sad is Gray

A Poem by preoccupied
"

A five sense poem.

- Sad is gray -
- It sounds like dulled TV static -
- It smells like the warm stuffy air after a storm -
- It tastes like monotonous breads -
- It feels like pressure against my head -

This is simple, yet clever, showing how sadness can invade all the senses at once in seemingly strange ways. I really like the "it sounds like dulled TV static" line.

Nice. Concise but very illustrative. Well done.
