I find that dreams are such mercurial anomalies, and unlike this clearly meaningful, lesson-bearing poem of your dream, mine rarely seem to make much sense.
In particular, I enjoy your eventual question, as (to me) it poses a quandary only a wiser, more aware person could. Then, in the final line, having humility enough to admit that, though, the more one learns the further they can see, you admit that you cannot, yet, perceive enough … insightfully, discerning there is more to learn.
Thank you so much for sharing your dream with us, and for reading and reviewing my poem, "The TREE" … many happy blessings! ⁓ Richard 🍃

Farrr more openly honest than "kind", but you are certainly welcome … it's a pleasure to read you... read moreFarrr more openly honest than "kind", but you are certainly welcome … it's a pleasure to read you. : )
You capture that feeling we all sense as we age and life is suddenly past and a thing to recall rather than plan for yet despite our years often we still feel unfulfilled, unsure and ignorant of any truths.
