Freedom

                                                         Freedom

   

Do I desire anything? 

What I desire is Your wish

I do not want to cross beyond
Yet I do desire to have my freedom.

My life spins a magic web around You

Not to ensnare, but to look up to You

My wishes are then within my limits

I then know no height or depth

Those who have seen the height is scared of the depth

By that I am quite fearless

What I yearn more and more 

Is my freedom, the freedom to spin.

This offering seems to be directed to a Higher Power. What the speaker is essentially saying is that one must put that Power first and all the rest will come to pass. When you do, as the poem says, your wishes will be within you limits. This is true freedom.
