Home for meA Poem by prema Home for me My dream home turned out to be the tomb of my wishes Fate put me in the hands of destiny Greedy men want to buy even the tomb I was not spared at any time. I tried to live in the abode of joy There too I had many visitors Sadly some even left their mark I could never live a full life. Those who do not abide by law Fearless they may appear to be Made their home in forbidden lands Where even angels fear to tread. Though only a tomb, in my useless home With sorrow as accompaniment Oh my Lord I invite you To come and rest for a while. Neither do I have anymore wish Nor I want to live in the tomb For deep inside me I know Home for me is only a makeshift. © 2020 premaFeatured Review
