passing time

passing time

A Poem by prema

                                 Passing time

While watching the passing TIME
Once or twice I did realize
Its refusal to move along
Did it's halt match with my mood ?
Panic gripped me by the abrupt stop
My hard stare made it move again
I then perceived myself as the watchdog
Who can even set TIME apart.
I never got lost in the flow of TIME
Nor I can call a moment as my own
For I could do no great work to earn that moment.
Still  I can count each and every moment.
Since I keep track of TIME
It does wink to me time and again.
A clock is redundant to know each other
That's the rapport do we share.
