Voices from Graveyard

My Life

"
                                   Voices from Graveyard

Howling voices as and when the wind blows
Of unfulfilled wishes and dreams
Emanating from a grave graveyard
Reminds me of the mango tree in my courtyard.

Though the force of gravity
Makes me rooted to the ground
I pine my wishes and desires to branch outwards
And my dreams to bear fruit.

But alas , the Sun never shone on me
And I am parched of lack of rain
How I can ever grow ?
How I can ever grow?

But the kind wind carried my cries
Disturbing the serenity of the graveyard of my dreams
I pause for a moment to ask the wind
What purpose does it serve?

With the sunshine and rain
The mango tree in my courtyard
Branches out and bear fruit
What a glorious way to exist and serve !

Is it fate that made me stay
In the graveyard of my wishes and dreams ?
I need to ask , for I want to REST IN PEACE
Sans the howling voices of my unfulfilled dreams.
