A PROMISE

 

I thought I already forgot him,

I think everything is already done

But I keep saying ¨I CAN´T!¨

Cause he´s just too sweet and too fun.

Now that he´s back,

I know I can´t deny the fact,

that I´m falling again and again,

and I’ll never say ¨I CAN!¨

He is by my side today,

I hope he´ll always be, day after day.

And there´s no more words left to say

Cause he took it all and he never fails.

He told me ¨I´ll wait!¨

I told him ¨Okay….

I´ll hold on to that faith..

till it comes-the right day.¨

My heart beats faster and says..

¨I know there´ll be many more days,

I hope he´ll never get tired

And pray he´ll soon be hired..¨

I wish he´ll hold on so tight,

Cause there´s a big world we need to fight.

And no matter how big and how long this battle takes,

We´ll overcome it and say my sweet YES….
