I am just a Poet..

That's all I will ever be..

Just writer of what I think,

See or what I feel..

Trying to express what I see as real

 

Sometimes I write about life's heartbreak

 Sometimes it's about Life's joys,,

There are so many things about which I write..

I really can't describe..

 

You see

I am Just a poet

Just another scribe

But each and every comment people make

Fills my soul with pride

 

Can I say that I'm great?

Not necessarily so..

For when you express your self in this format

It's very often touch and go

 

All I can say

Is that I'm poet

Expressing thoughts I cannot fight

I am just a poet

Trying to get my craft right
