3 HAIKUS - AUTUMN

3 HAIKUS - AUTUMN

A Poem by Prateeksha Khot
"

Haiku for the season of Autumn. Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry which has the syllable format of 5-7-5 and is generally about nature, particularly seasons

"

Hues of ORANGE and
YELLOW and all shades of RED;
Welcome ! Autumn's here.

End of the old,dead.
Paving the way for all things new-
That's Autumn for you.

Dried leaves,flowers,petals
Falling down like Mistletoe,
Blanketing the Earth

Ok loved this premature intro to Autumn but just to ask.
Stanza two seems to have eight on (syllables) to line two and stanza three six on (syllables in line one?
