Undone

Undone

A Poem by Pranali

your light up every little space of time
private personal spaces are no longer mine
your memories befell each and every one of them
exposed, vulnerable; my longings you un-tame

how did you make, how do you take so much space?
endless circles of thoughts woven around you i can trace
growing around like a vine on my mind
your scent wafted through each pore it could find

through this a thin slim film of pain and pleasure persists
pain forgotten, foolishly pleasure my heart doesn't resist
for the momentary rush of joy hills
seemingly endless mountains of pain i will

Joy, Zeal, Love & Life they say accompany Pain, Apathy, Hate & Death
illusion for centuries that humanity's frailty is duality; i say its faith
Wash away the belief of "somewhere over the rainbow"
its high time we accept life with its accompanied blow
