Broken Home

Broken Home

A Poem by Pranali

shattered trust and unshed tears,
cruel accusations in raised voices,
unresolved dispute of unfulfilled expectations,
hatred exalted by emotional abuse,
love forgotten under this roof,
a house once a home.

rift in the divine relation of sacred marriage,
untold beyond these walls,
its wrath is suffered only by the children,
for whose welfare the fight is fought,
in fulfilling their economic needs,
childhood's happiness is forever locked.

Its true in a situation like this the only losers are the children caught up in the aftermath . A well written piece
