Golden Shower

I am completely in awe of the Golden Shower Tree near my house.This poem is dedicated to the tree and its beauty.

My thoughts are as vibrant as the golden shower

It always dazzles like a vibrant flower

A treat to the eyes, a pleasure to the soul

A live performance of the yellow

That beholds me with its spectacular show

 

The yellow enchants me with its magical charm

Casting an eternal spell, while remaining calm

It’s like the moon that spreads its radiance

Throughout the night, it glitters with pride

Tranquil and enlightening places with it’s light

 

Birds often rest on its branches

May be they are also smitten with its aura

I wish I had wings like them

Whiling away time in the midst of the yellow flowers  

Admiring the splendor of the Golden Shower

Lol, was offered one by a ginger bird I casually dated, told her I wouldn't let her pee on me even if I was in fire let alone for " fun"
Have heard soldiers used to puss in their boots, WW1, to combat trench foot, that could be untrue though.
