Anti TributeA Poem by DeepankarI know you are still there, Here and somewhere You still have that same smile that made my day Still have that pleasant smell that lingers around me hitherto On the crossroads of our journey We definitely crossed one another’s A picture of yours is buried deep within as a reminiscing entity Your body once an ocean for me to sail and sink Has now found another ship Your lips from where I drank all the juices of life Has now forever forbaded me from so
This isn’t a tribute by any means It is the roots of my soul and heart Drying off, Hardening and tantalizingly transforming itself into a dead twig’s saga
It is me, mine and everything that exists Solitude and shadow of mine Along with a serene smile Albeit sun is basking pleasantly and brimming with joy Autumn is forcing every leaves to die
Still you are there, here and somewhere But where I won’t find you anymore…………… © 2013 DeepankarReviews
