APALLING PIECE "I LEFT THE BATTLE MIDWAY"...STARIGHT FROM MY HEART

I Left the Battle midway
With no chances of steering away
I am stung by the scorpion of defeat
A Failure I am who has to Retreat

I Lost every Hope;my Faith in me
Like the marooned sailor in the Tempest
Darkness, only Darkness prevail over me
Not even a ray to show me the way

I am perplexed, devoid of expressions
Happiness scarce now & Tears my only shadow
I Throw my Arms towards the Blue in desperation
Hoping for a Hand to carry me Forward

But Alas! I am neglected even by the heavens
Am left with Grief & Tears of defeat
With No Road to Walk;With no joke to laugh
I Wish Nothing, But my Demise.
