I Want To Live It.A Poem by Prabha SalimathI want every parents take their children consideration before they think anything for them. A life needs what a soul wants not what authority commands.
It wasn't my dream,
A great runner I was. Teacher raised a dream. He wants me an athlete. Parents took no notice. Everyday I'm growing athlete. Physical fitness is my concern. Still no hope for tomorrow. Sir encouraged me in vast. I run like a cheetah, fast. I'm glad runners get shock, if they know, I'm in track. Time to public exam. Their eyes on me more. Scrutinizing a full of me, They said no to my dream. Little school girl, no oppose. I left my dream, to live theirs. Leading my life in their way, a new imposed rule upon me. Chasing dream, I left behind. Have I done anything wrong? I would have been an athelete. I could be an epitome of India. My life is a punishment, as I've slayed my dream. Burried in dark side of mind. The soul haunts me for rest. Happiness is lost somewhere. I bartered it for their smile. Still I have time to live it. Give me a chance to chase it. © 2014 Prabha SalimathReviews
