Dark Eats Shadow.

Dark Eats Shadow.

A Poem by Prabha Salimath
"

Life will never be as you think of it.

"
Help anyone with no expectation.
It hurts to see yourself alone.
If get no hand to hold in meantime.
People know their need of help.
They forget to be thankful later.

Life will never be as you think.
It's an unsolvable puzzle sometime.
I know always it plays no fair often.
It throws problems recklessly.
All we need to balance the situation.

Adversely you stuck by this.
Exactly your brain stops work.
Hopeless and fearful panicked fully.
Do not let dark to fill in you.
Dark eats our shadow, the last companion.

Author's Note

Prabha Salimath
We never know what we have in our life's store. Hillarious one will be accepted heartfully. I'm not saying to embrace the problems but balnce and try to solve it. Even after get it so suddenly so better prepare to face it because no one will be there when we need help. At last I would like to say in panicked condition mind won't work properly but don't let that blank darkness to eat your shadow because shadow is believed as our companion.

Thank you Hardeep.
I like the image of dark eating our shadow....I wonder what the opposite of that is...Does light illuminate our soul?

I really like the message here my friend, despite our trials and hardships we must still keep a sunny outlook.

You're welcome. :)
I like the way you use darkness as a physical force of creeping evil that absorbs our shadows, the weakest part of our souls or the part of us it has most in common with! That's a strong ending statement in contrast to 'Me and my shadow' which is such a happy go lucky frame of mind. Life will never be as we think and it's best not to get dragged down by it or made to think we are on our own, that's the message I get.

yes my msg conveyed correctly thanks for the review Leigh.
There is something a little deeper at work here. Try to make the summary in the note less enlightening. I read it again and well... there are a few twigs on fire, but you forgot to collect your firewood before hand and now you will have to burn the broken chair. It really was such excellent wood.

Keep Up The Good Work.

The idea is a nice one. Write a little prose first. You got carried away while writing the poem. Patience is a virtue. This is not another polite review because you have shown a lot of real spark here. It needs a piece of wood to catch the fire or it will very soon become a negligible amount of CO2 + H2O.
