Tightly closed in a jar
will go all the tears i cried.
In an overstuffed pillow
every dream i had for you will go.
Sealed in a plain white envelope
is my first and only picture of you.
Still wrapped in its packing
all your little clothes will stay.
Tied in a black velvet pouch
a dark image of my destroyer resides.
Covered with a band-aid
the scars you left me hide.
