Amateur Love LetterA Poem by Lucia MorganYes, I fantasize about you. Your 1970's fro under the dry blue heat of the sun. Side burns plastered to your sweat ridden cheeks. Your glasses glinting from the light of my... Infatuation, to be exact. You're so.... imperfectly beautiful. Your comical brows, tangly masses of microscopic Jew-curls, Shy green eyes, I want you to know that I understand you, But words i cannot speak, just yet. Your limpish walk, Like a raving homeless. I won't giggle, I don't care. My pupils dilate, and I hate that feeling, Fight or flight. Pumping veins and Sweaty, clammy, lovesick hands say, Kiss me already.
