The Importance of Confusion

The Importance of Confusion

A Poem by Lucia Morgan

Bloody rags.

Mumbling smiles.

Soapy storms tumble,

Spitting tilted babies

Into tortured times.

Seize silent nights

Of naked navels,

Nuturning nocturnal nuisances.

Yield to yellows years

And pairs of posing persons,

Robbing and raping

Royal roads of time.

Protruding pointed parts

Of pelvic perversion,

And other dancing demonic demises.

Cool, cruel, and coiled.

Crazily cracking codes

Of the blue veiny voids

Of virginal Vikings.

Well, I've honestly no idea what this is or could be about, but I liked it a lot! The imagery, especially the line about spitting babies, was pure genius! I loved this!

Twas pleasently nonsensical, leaving me with a variety of images no doubt they would be completely different for a second read. I always enjoy a poem that makes me think.
