A Poem by Sarabeara!

Shape shifter, contortionist

You dance in wild abandon.

Move along my walls,

Steal my sleep,

Flooding my thoughts with doomful vibes

Terrifying my daughter

Until she shrieks your name.

I wipe the tears from her eyes,

Whispering warm words of consolation.

I tell her the games you play-

Taunting at her worst nightmares.

Your malicious, silent laughter echoes throughout the room.

Go away, shadows.

No one wants to play with you.

This is a solid piece. I like the tone you use. I think that is really the key piece in this poem. It elevates your message and allows you to strike a cord with your reader.

Very dark!!

I loved the way you
described it, it's almost like
a horror flick

Great work!!
