Sanity

Sanity

A Poem by Shannon
"

Written about an original character in his time of mentally losing it.

"
Sanity is held together by paper thin bandages
They feel so tight against my skin
If they become loose things will start to leak
Rage that could slice through hearts
Memories wished to be forgotten

Bandages stay tight against my skin
It is the only thing that will be right
White fiber hold yourself still
For it is time to be tightened and fixed
Protect sanity before it shatters
