Stream of Consciousness Stuff

A Poem by Will
"

Excerpt from my journal

"
A man walks into a store and ask the clerk...
No, wait, that's not right...

Oh wait, let me start again.

Did I ever tell you about the time
I fell in love with you?
About how your hair looked in that pony-tail
and in that moment you looked at me and my heart froze?
Oh wait, now I remember.
Grapes.
And he said, "Ask me about grapes again
and I'll nail your f****n' bill to the counter.
He was a duck.

Time's a funny thing y'know?
Even when it goes slow it still manages to slip away.
Kinda like that scene in Cliffhanger.
With Sylvester Stallone?
Does anyone even remember that movie?
God what a horrible film.

And the video game?

I mean the s**t they used to put out back in the day.
I mean you could only call it a game
in the sense that it had sprites
that would respond when the "player" would push a button
on the controller clutched in their comatose hand.

It certainly wasn't a "game"
in the sense that you had fun while you played it.
Unless you enjoyed wasting money.  And time.

Time's a funny thing.
Reminds me of this one time
I walked into a store muttering something about grapes to myself.
People looked at me strange.
