Pe-ren-ni-al

A Poem by pomello
"

'perennial: lasting or existing for a long or apparently infinite time'

"
Breathing soft breathe on your neck,
My fingertips follow the crevice of your shoulder,
We lay embraced,
Listening to the city's white noise,
Moving placidly though time and haste;

Fear,
Temporary as the budding flower,
Made good by the World between your lips,
That's perennial as the Sun,
And truer than the salt of the ocean.
