To Forget

I want to escape!       

Travel back and forget.

Forget all the mistakes and heartache,

Forget all the people and places,

Forget what ever happened,

It wasnt meant to be

 

How do you let go?

How can you forget if you cant forgive?

All the memories

Its a knife

Stabbing me as my blood pump,

Shattering my brain

 

I thought it was love

But i was only in love with the feeling of love.

I want to forget all my mistakes.

They wisper through my ear

Speaks softly and reads life.

The question i have is if 'lesson learned'?

 

I want to ecape!

To be free to say NO!

To scream to the heavens above,

"If only...if only...you knew"

I miss what i thought it was,

Or could be.

To fly away

And start over

To be fre!
