Tears of a MotherA Poem by Kaitlyn DanielleDedicated to my mother.
When a mother cries,
Her tears are felt Deep down by her child. Tears of a Mother. She cries only out of pain, For her other will never again Come around Tears of a Mother As she cries, silently to herself. Her child cries too, She cries because she doesn't know, The pain of a Mother. As each tear plummets to the ground, Each one stabs at her child's heart. Because she doesn't understand, The pain of a Mother. She falls to the ground With her face in her hands. Trying not to show, Tears of a Mother. Once her tears cease, What remains is love. The love shared between mother and child. This is tears of a Mother. © 2011 Kaitlyn Danielle
