White Wall Conversations

White Wall Conversations

A Poem by poison&kerosene

He paced the room shooting the occasional astringent glance

“If you don’t want to live and you don’t want to die then you have

already chosen death.”

I sheepishly smile at my balled-up fists laid in my lap

It was a feeling I swept under the floorboards of my mind

Mingling with dust bunnies and denial

“ Sir, if that is the case where do we go from here?”

It was written with a heavy heart. Thank you for your kind words!
P&K - Whenever I read your poetry, it's as if I have just walked through a room full of a faint, sweet aroma mixed with fresh air that I carry with me as I leave and go on my way. Nice work! --Ralph

apathy is a killer...caring too much can just wipe us out...but not caring at all, we are dead before we start.
