I'm Sorry FamilyA Poem by poison&kerosene
Her will to survive dangled by a thread
If she had been a minute late Her daughter would have been dead His laughter clung to years that passed If he hadn't heard the dog whine That breath would have been her last The younger sister watched in pain She tried to tell her "I love you" But all efforts were in vain After the hospital she returned To pick up the broken pieces and mend the bridges that burned It could never be the same it was Everyone died a little inside that's just what suicide does She made a promise to them all to never stop fighting for her life to get up every time she falls Because she can never bear it To hear her family cry together Simply because she chooses to quit
