Cold Feet

Cold Feet

A Poem by Emily Dickinson Jr.
"

This is about a woman who is getting married but wasn't ready for it.

"

Clink goes the glass

Chandelier so clear

Reflecting pure propriety

And in glistening eyes

Pure fear

Diamonds on the fingers

Dresses all in lace

Hide the "I do" fear

Hidden in the face

Fear blushes up her cheeks

They say "Wedding bliss"

The devel contract is signed

With an after "I do" kiss

thank you kindly
Kinda reminds me of "Speak Now" by Taylor Swift. I love the artwork, by the way. And I love your poem. You know how to keep the reader interested.

A few words but with a load of truth. As much as i am not a fan of weddings but this here i must say made it a bit spicy...i love "hide the "i do" fear hidden in the face...Good writing.
