Misunderstood Murderers

Misunderstood Murderers

A Poem by Emily Dickinson Jr.
"

A horribly sad poem about those poor abused/bullied children that because of their torment become murderers. read please

"

No one talks and No one hears

The pain of broken children's tears

They bleed and burn inside the heart

And stay still, buried and do their part

When out they burst

 No one else

Will speak of the pain that they shout

Condemn! Condemn!

These lonely hearts

For following cycles

And playing parts

They suffer and you suffer

But them much more

All they wanted was a smile, a friend

And it is you they would adore

For now

And forever more

I think the theme itself is what is the most powerful aspect of this. And the perspective of people usually viewed as inexplicably evil. I'm not usually a fan of rhyme, but you really have a way of doing it that doesn't seem forced. As if the words fall naturally into place. Reminiscent of Emily Dickinson ;)

Oh.. it such a shame that people betray the leaf of humanity - the humanity that, once, let people live with peace, but now in today, it's all gone lost into winds ... very deep and heartfelt poetry you write and speak the heart for those who ev'n living their own life with.. in slavery. Very powerful write!

A very moving portrait and an important issue. It's something I have reflected upon when I have seen abusive parents in public. Civil liberty activists would be outraged, but I believe parents should be made by the government to do parenting courses and undergo psychological examination before they are allowed to have children. I believe so much suffering could be avoided.

so we need great care in treating children,,,,,The real cause of they going astray is the lack of love and affection....I think no one can ever 'condemn' this lyrical piece . the rhyme is beautiful.....Thanks for sharing and keep letting me know about your newer works

Usually it's something exterior that fractures the minds of murderers, adult and child alike. Something that makes them tic and piles hatred onto their sanity until it snaps like a thin, brittle twig in winter. Some would argue that their weakness in snapping was inevitable and that they're an imminent danger to society. I say it's simply a matter of perspective, but most don't want to (even theoretically) place themselves under the protection of such weak sanities and to play with the whisperings of demons. Great poem.

thnx. :D
It's so sadly true. It breaks my heart every time to read stuff on the topic of abused children, or abused anything to be honest. :(
This is really good, SUPER truthful, and yet- the half-hidden hope at the end. Great job, Hannah. :)
