Be a fighter

 

Chin high

Soul gone

 

Ice cold eyes

Nothing won

 

They'll never know

And you'll never tell

All that has happened

To you in that hell

 

Didn't they see

What could happen there

 

With nothing allowed

And no room for fear

 

I'll bet they say no

And always deny

 

The truth that we know

When we look in their eyes

 

As our soul cries

The poem open the door to more questions then answers. I like the directness and harshness of the lines to make the point in the poem.
