A Poem by Emily Dickinson Jr.
"

READ it!!!!!! plz? pretty plz?

"

Showers fall down

To crimson pond

Scarlet flowers

Stars beyond

Showers, Crystal

Flower's gift

It's beauty nearly

Just nearly

Bridges the rift

The giggles taunt

Yet beg for followers

They swoon only to fall

The petals droop and give

But the survivors

Stand tall

With the promise

That before

The others thought laughable

Now they

Start again

The cycle remains

The memories stained

The memories remained

Hmmmmm...this provoked a lot of thought for me. You titled this piece People, so I was determined to figure out the meaning. What I got of it was this:
The beautiful, carefree women will soon fall. Surface beauty doesn't last. Those of us who rely on deeper virtues will survive through the tough times, i.e. high school. "The cycle remains" this makes me think that no matter what, we can't change what the beautiful yet rotten girls will think of us. "Memories stained, remained." We let the beautiful rotten girls get to us, and now we will never truly be sure of ourselves.

Now, I don't know if this is even close to what your message was, but it's what I got, nevertheless.

A good read! Bravo!

I found this one difficult to fathom. It felt as if it had different messages but no single one.

I could see this being about a few things including the deception of the church or judgment day on Earth. Interesting piece.

Wow! This was very beautiful! You word choice is amazing and the stanzas flow perfectly together. I loved the last two lines the most. They are really powerful and bring the message home. This was great!
