Chilling Perfection

Chilling Perfection

A Poem by Emily Dickinson Jr.
"

This is a poem about how everyone is such a perfectionist and the effect that being "perfect" has on us

"

Greatness is a word
We, all yearn to hear

We stiffen our resolve

To never shed a tear

We harden up our hearts
And on the inside, it is shown

Though our outsides, may be perfect
Our insides are as cold, as freshly fallen snow

it is perfect freshly fallen snow.
delicate intricate natural design,
the softest touch has a single flake,
revealing that true beauty is divine.
Falling out of the sky it's refine shape
drifts in the wind
Upon warming cheek,
A rain drop forms
its beauty imprints never lost.
