The Shadow

The Shadow

A Poem by Poewriter7

I walk in evil's shadow

I trudge through death's door

For the shadow speaks to me

it calls out my name

As it wraps its dusty old cloak
Around its cold, dead face

Revealing its heartless eyes

Its eyes, as dark as its soul

For the shadow is death in the flash

it tells me "your next"

Reminds me of the deep and dark. Like Lovecraft. Maybe, just a suggestion, but maybe you should remake a Lovecraft story. That would be wonderful I'm sure!
