In Regards To A True Friend

Some friends are there when you need them, and that's amazing enough. But there are some friends who go above and beyond the call of duty and give and give and give. I wrote this about one of those friends of mine... =)

It's cold outside, always,

but the songs you play will always keep me warm.

Swinging in the rain is a rush of cold wind,

but the fact that you care keeps me dry.

When I have no food,

you feed me with your unending love.

When I am naked,

you clothe me with your body.

When I am poor,

You make me rich with your selflessness.

And, suddenly, I realize...

 

...I've never had this before.

I am questioning...The coverart? or coer art as you skillfully put it.

I liked it. It's sweet. You're friend would be honored by it. But then again, who wouldn't feel special being your friend.

PS- who's this one about? for some reason i want to guess [i get what you mean.]. I'm not sure. The part about song reminded me of him.
