Intense Resistance

Intense Resistance

A Poem by Clarisse Nanoit
"

Written about Sunday. :)

"

Starry night,

magnetic hearts

So close at once,

so far apart

Lust and love

and deprivation:

addicts in a

drug-free nation

Secrets told

and promises made,

I know my love

will never fade

Holding, desperately,

to that rope

last of chances,

final hope

Hang and wait,

the only choice

Pray my love

can give me voice
