Dreaming

Dreaming

A Poem by Samuel T.

I dream with open eyes

in hopes you'll appear.

Defeated I shut them

To tread in your shadow,

but still,

Your intangible grace

eclipses me like the moon.

I've never known

such an embrace.

I am but a star

In your infinite universe

dreaming.

Simply to supernova, solely

to submit myself

to your entire being.

Mindfully,

manipulating my matter

to matter in your mind.

Does it make me blind,

to see so much in you?

Or are you so blinding,

I can't see much outside you.

I dream with open eyes,

In hopes you'll appear.

Defeated i shut them

to tread in your shadow

Love is the nightmare,

I wish not to wake from,

Though sorrowfully,

I must sleep for.

Very nice.

I can't put much input since I'm not that great at reviewing these kind of poems, but i did really like this one.
