Made For Her

Made For Her

A Poem by poetsblade

They're a little scarred and batterred
But to her that never matterred
They're also worn and caloused
But that don't stop what passes 'tween us
God made these hands to touch her

Yeah must have been the plan from the start
that every lonesome peice have a matching part
And no body be complete
Till its partner in union  meet
And now on my knees before her
I sware
God made me for her

They held others afore they found her
but that don't stop 'em from wrapping around her
Yeah they reached for others before
But that don't matter anymore
God made these arms to hold her

Yeah must have been the plan from the start
that every lonesome peice have a matching part
And no body be complete
Till its partner in union  meet
And now on my knees before her
I sware
God made me for her

They may have spoken in anger and ill humour
But you know that don't consume her
and of all before she was  the better
The first time that they met her
God made these lips to kiss her

Yeah must have been the plan from the start
that every lonesome peice have a matching part
And no body be complete
Till its partner in union  meet
And now on my knees before her
I sware
God made me for her
