The Water's Crash

The Water's Crash

A Poem by poetsblade

The Water's Crash

We sat alone
     upon the rocks,
lost in thought
     and listened to
the water's crash.

We, each of us,
     found the other,
upon the rocks,
     and
the only sound was
the water's crash.

We, each of us,
     forgot our thoughts,
there upon the rocks,
     as we gave,
of ourselves,
     and then
gave in
     to
the water's crash.

I like this....but it almost feels like there's an emotion missing that is trying to be expressed. It's absolutely beautiful and yet at the same time, felt like you were holding back. Maybe its just because I'm used to feeling alot from your writing. Keep writing....I was glad to get this read request from you, I love your work!
