HOPEA Poem by suepoemAway from the maddening crowds she comes to visit me. she opened up my sight so that I can see with my own eyes. telling me stories in tales that would otherwise go untold. In her mind she played the silent game trying to find where to go, projecting images through the tunnels, just one chance for me. she is a rock in a river, where the waters cannot move her soul, inviting me to share and not drown in the clutches of downstream foes. she is the sun in my darkness, shining her knowledge with a melody. disappearing as the sea of emotions creep up and drown the space, of thoughts and dreams that she had claimed and owned. A need to imprint her footsteps before being a shadow of images, that get lost in the in the consciousness of a foggy mind. guiding the hand and freeing the soul to an invitation of the virgin paper, from the depths of the chambers that she had come to visit as my guide, to unveil her secrets in her knowledge hidden deep but never die, to be passed on before being lost again into the drowning of the soul. © 2013 sueReviews
