NATURE CALLS.

NATURE CALLS.

Lend me your wings so that I can fly high,

nature is calling me, but my limitation is tied.

beauty is all around and the visions are clear in my mind,

staying in my dreams so I can walk for miles and miles.

Far reaching places, stretched out on natures canvas, cry,

for me to follow with my mind, as my body is too tired.

its kindness, giving a photographic vision for my eyes.

as it listens to my feelings, so I can reach out and touch the sky,

behind the imprisoned curtain of  cold concrete and steel.

the calling of the wild has its warming appeal,

in the beauty of the countryside where we are led to be restored,

away from the shadows of words, that store jealousy and hurt,

that creep up, unawares, and leaves its scars, that weep beneath.

The cloak of protection wraps itself round where the cold threatens,

as life has a soul and gives its forgiveness and  blessings, through visions.

Lend me your ears so that my sub-consiousness is clear and I can hear,

so that on my life journey, I am not a victim of thoughts, that ground me in fear,

blend me into the creation  of words, that otherwise go unheard,

to decipher natures wisdom and to have peace, in the war of the words.

This poem begins with "Lend me your wings," then repeats later "Lend me your ears."
That's what stands out. But also the last line, asking for peace in the war of the words. All who write know about that war.
Thanks for writing.
