A CHANCE TO BLOOM.

CHANCE TO BLOOM.

I stand-alone where lost time over a thousand years has come and gone,

Reaching out to express the emotional torrent that has gripped hold of me,

The time of passing has many stories that could be told,

But silence has no face to express what is trapped deep in trodden mud.

Until the disguise of the new growth opens up its new bud,

Not disclosing secrets as the cosmetic mask hides the features of a broken heart.

Waiting for a guiding hand to clear the debris so that given a chance,

I can open up new foliage of a future with radiant bloom,

In crowning glory. Radiance peels off the old and true colours show through,

In embrace with worldly surroundings as they talk now I can hear,

Rustling in the breeze in their merriment and dance with which I am a part,

Sun kissed and singing with the orchestra of the rustling of the trees,

With strength and vitality like a fairy-tale of delicacy as eyes fall on me,

Admiring what has shown through where once that had stood was bare,

With a little help needed to clear the path for motivation in trust to gleam true.

showing the bright colours of laughter in a true identity.

You are so honest in your poems. I like the "orchestra of the rustling trees."
