You amuse me in a way that is no longer amusing

For people who think that they're perfect. Keep trying. You're not perfect. And you never will be. It's not cute.

Struggling to find what best suggests perfection

Knowing that goal will never become real

Is a waste of time

Stepping on the shards of broken glass

Or at least that's what it feels like

Breaking every bone

And loving no one

Is surely no way to be perfect

Perfection is a funny word

And oddly enough nothing is perfect

Keep trying though

You won't get there

But it's amusing watching you try

Brings a smile to my face

Watching you struggle for the one thing

That is surely impossible

Until the day you die

You will never see anything perfect

That is... if you have a good soul

And the Lord accepts you

But until then

You will never be perfect

You will never have anything perfect

Nor see anything perfect

So get over yourself

It's no longer amusing
