Fat House CatA Poem by mae-mae<3And I mean that quite literallyThere's a striped fat cat sitting next to me Though he's very fat he's kind of lucky He has people to love him And a brother to play with He's beautiful and couragous But he's doubled in width I'm sort of jealous of this cat Why? Because he's free Free from the world's harmful ways And free from the hurt the heart feels everyday The worst thing that could happen Is if he would fall too hard But that's what he gets for being the fat house cat star
His brother is another story So clean and precise While being just as fat He's really quite nice People like him more Than his brother still But I like to adore The fat cat standing here He's afraid of the outdoors And squeaks rather than meows Though he's just as beautiful And has the color of cows
The reason for this poem? Is to tell you now That I'm jealous of these cats They know how to be proud They don't care the color Or the gender or smarts They care of what's inside And what's in your heart I'm jealous of these cats For only one reason you see That though they're quite fat I know they'll always love me © 2009 mae-mae<3 |
