Sweet HurricaneA Poem by erika
When i first saw her, my heart skipped a beat
It stumbled, then nature took over and it continued but my memory was stuck on repeat i can still see those eyes. She was beautiful-buxom and bold A smile lighting up the room like a ray of sun Blue blue eyes took hold i was drowning from day one. I drowned once, for good; then over and over again I drowned myself willingly, painlessly in the sweet suffering of her blue eyes. Oh, she knew the hold she had over me She was a tantalizing witch I was in her spell, blind except for her eyes. Sometimes i think-maybe if had been wiser I'd have tried to forget that luscious shimmer that deep-sea colour the smell, the taste of her but still, most of all, her eyes- but no she was a sweet hurricane- i couldn't have resisted if i'd tried. beautiful, irresistible, dangerous She pulled me in with sweet caresses and whispers of her love And when i took her hand and kissed her she drowned me in her flood. Those blue, blue eyes, i used to tell her, would be the death of me. I used to think she smiled sweetly Those supple lips were schooled with lies i drowned, in her, sweet hurricane I reached out to die. i took one and only dive into a pool of her sweet blue eyes. it was a rush, until i died. Sweet Hurricane.
