Alive and in Awe

Alive and in Awe

A Poem by Amanda
"

Inspired by a bike ride today, where the wind blew strongly across my body. I felt free, alive and carefree and enjoyed the soothing sensation immensely.

"
Tendrils of hair
fly wildly.

Lost in a succulent
sea of sensation.

Time is irrelevant,
ceases to exist.

Feeling infinitely
in awe and alive.

Amazing use of words.
"Lost in a succulent
Sea of sensation."
The above lines. Perfect. Good to become lost in the things that create pleasure. Thank you Amanda for sharing the outstanding poetry.

This brought a fresh feeling as I read this piece, you've described your emotions well. :) I love bike rides too, especially when it's on an empty road and it's really fast. x)
