Your Confessions

Your Confessions

A Poem by Fuego31
"

Written 10/6/14 about my ex

"
You let me feel guilty
the entire time
You knew the struggle
That went through my mind

You chose to stay
But you could have left
You let me suffer alone
with my emotional depth

You played all victim
I felt it unfair
to put you through that
But I know what you didn't share

We both hurt
But you took no blame
Letting me carry
A shoulder of shame

I'm trying to forgive you
The past is just that
But your confessions
Have left me flat

The important thing is
We are both now free
You can be you
And I can be me

And now it's come
That fateful day
When you're allowed to admit
Your ex-boyfriend is gay

About
Sometimes I just write on random imagination and thoughts, but I mostly write what's inspired by my strongest emotion at that given moment. I've been been writing since I was 13 and I'm currently 24. .. more..
